Summer Styles Or Weekend Getaways
Summer is right around the corner and I am loving the trends! For those of you...like me...that didn't get to go to go to Coachella here are some of the trends from everyone who was lucky enough to enjoy a little weekend getaway in California.
Flat slide on sneakers are everywhere right now! I personally am a heels girl but I love how cute and feminine they are making them. They are perfect for sliding on to run some errands or for heading to the beach! The best part about these is you can find them in pretty much every color and print imaginable!
I've always liked gladiator sandals but they never really caught on till now. I remember seeing them a couple years back but now they are everywhere!! You can find them in both a basic sandal or a knee high. I prefer the knee highs to add a little something extra to my outfit!
The last big trend is sunglasses. Last year Ray Bans were huge but this year its more about the style of them. I love to see people wearing them as an accessory to their outfit instead of just their basic shielding your eyes from the sun look. If your daring you should try the cat eye frames and if your more of a classic girl go for the mirrored rainbow tinted shades.

Bringing sexy back!
I love how little details can make such a difference in a basic outfit! This spring it is all about the strappy backs. I love how this trend that first began in swimwear in now carrying over in all areas of fashion. Check out the below looks I've found.....they are in everything from athletic wear to jumpsuits! Definitely rock this look but be sure to wear your hair over your shoulder to show off those sexy backs!

Snow day means plaid day
Well 2 weeks ago it was 70degrees and today I woke up to snow! Only in Wisconsin do we get weather like this!! The plus side to the weather is I was able to get a new plaid top on sale and still be able to wear it this season. This is one I got at Kohl's for only $10! Being a Monday, which is a busy day for me, I just paired it with skinny jeans and boots. Theres an old wives tail about not mixing brown with black but I say do it! Summa summa summa time!
While it still might be winter (ok technically spring!) in Wisconsin I am already looking at swimming suits! Last year was all about the fringe and while I still think it's cute strappy suits is wear it's at! Check out this cute little number below that I found on Beach Bum Bikinis's website for $21.99! My favorite thing about solid suits like this one is mixing the tops and bottoms up! Two suits suddenly turns into four completely different looks! Now if only we could get some warmer weather here!
